After experiencing delays and technical issues with a new seed processing plant, a French agricultural cooperative turned to B2C Engineering to take over the automation and SCADA systems for the facility.
The project began with a thorough study phase: user workshops, needs gathering, and detailed functional analysis by production zone. From this, B2C redeveloped the full control and supervision system, using Siemens TIA Portal V19 for PLCs and AVEVA System Platform 2023R2 with OMI for the SCADA.
The goal: ensure full operational readiness before the end of June 2024 — a target successfully met.
Results: a cutting-edge factory, faster manufacturing order execution, reduced wait times, and +30% increased flexibility in sorting lines.
