Information about cookies and browser preferences
Let us first specify the nature of a cookie, also known as “connection witness” or “web beacon”. It is a file which is stored on your hard disk by a Web server for a defined temporary period of time in order to facilitate your navigation and to improve B2C’s website quality. Distinction should be made between “navigation cookies” and “cookies used for statistical analysis purposes”.
Navigation cookies enable B2C to memorise information such as your email address, your “Account” identifiers, the search terms you typed in the search engine. They are intended to facilitate your navigation on the website.
