Direct communication with market participants
On–site, several meetings were organized with vendors from the cybersecurity ecosystem, partners of B2C Engineering:
- OPSWAT
- Stormshield
- WALLIX Group
- Darktrace
Thanks to this face–to–face format, discussions quickly turned to concrete use cases related to the specific challenges of industrial environments.
In addition, certain demonstrations drew particular attention. This was notably the case with OPSWAT solutions, which were seen as addressing current challenges.
A more practical look at cybersecurity issues
This type of fieldwork brings to light issues that are rarely visible in a traditional project setting.
Several key observations emerge:
- on the one hand, the discrepancies between demonstrations and actual operating conditions
- on the other hand, the constraints related to production continuity
- as well as the specific characteristics of OT environments
- finally, the necessary trade-offs between safety and operational requirements
Thus, these elements inform the discussion and help refine decision-making.
A favorable environment for trade
Overall, participant feedback highlights the quality of the experience.
In particular:
- discussions that were deemed useful and practical
- a format that facilitated in–depth discussions
- an environment conducive to sharing experiences
In addition, the warm welcome and on–site organization helped create a positive atmosphere. Furthermore, the informal breaks provided an opportunity to continue discussions in a more relaxed setting.
An experience worth extending
Ultimately, this type of immersion helps broaden participants’ perspectives and fuel ongoing discussions.
By directly comparing on-the-ground challenges with market solutions, the discussions become more focused. As a result, priorities become clear more quickly.
Bringing industrial challenges into contact with the market.
On April 1, 2026, our teams were in Lille for the INCYBER Europe 2026 Forum, alongside several industrial clients.
The goal was to enable everyone to compare their operational challenges with solutions available on the market, in an environment conducive to discussion.
Beyond discovering new technologies, the main value lies in putting things into perspective. In other words, it’s about comparing, questioning, and validating concrete approaches.
