BMS supervision of a science park for multiple tenants dedicated to life sciences relies on a centralized building management and SCADA system, combining Building Management System (BMS) functions with supervisory control, to oversee the various spaces as they are fitted out for new tenants. Building on a trusted relationship developed over several joint projects, B2C Engineering was called on to integrate the fit-out of several new zones into this existing infrastructure.

The project relied exclusively on AVEVA System Platform templates already validated on site, with no custom development, to create the supervision views and integrate the new objects into the existing Galaxy. It also covered the regulation of HVAC terminal units via the BACnet MSTP protocol and the Honeywell controllers already in place, along with the testing and commissioning phases.

This approach to BMS supervision of a science park delivered a seamless integration of the new zones, while limiting technical risk through the reuse of proven solutions. The client now benefits from improved energy monitoring of its HVAC installations, with a fast and secure commissioning process, jointly validated with Honeywell.
