Here are the main alerts published by authorities and manufacturers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-a1725ed elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"a1725ed\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-039692e\" data-id=\"039692e\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-39010bc elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"39010bc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">CERT-FR alerts<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d987956 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d987956\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In France, CERT-FR (the French government&#8217;s computer emergency response team) published or updated four <a href=\"https:\/\/cert.cyber.gouv.fr\/alerte\/\">security alerts<\/a> between late September and <strong>21 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Every European country has an equivalent body, such as the CCB (Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium) in Belgium.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Remote controllers for refrigeration systems (12 October, CERTFR-2026-ALE-012)<\/strong>: CERT-FR reports numerous compromises of Danfoss (AK-SM and AK-SC series), Copeland xweb and Dixell xweb devices, with attack campaigns probably still ongoing. Its first recommendation is to remove these devices from the Internet,<\/li><li><strong>Ivanti Connect Secure (14 October, CERTFR-2026-ALE-013)<\/strong>: a vulnerability in this remote access solution (CVE-2026-104935), actively exploited according to the vendor, allows remote code execution,<\/li><li><strong>PHP (20 and 21 October, CERTFR-2026-ALE-014)<\/strong>: two critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) allow arbitrary remote code execution. Many versions are affected, including all versions that are no longer maintained,<\/li><li><strong>Citrix NetScaler ADC and Gateway (alert of 28 September, updated until 5 October, CERTFR-2026-ALE-011)<\/strong>: several actively exploited vulnerabilities, some of them before patches were even available.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-805427f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"805427f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The refrigeration controller alert had real-world consequences. On the night of 11 October, hundreds of French supermarkets saw their refrigeration systems disrupted, according to statements by the retailers reported in the press (<a href=\"https:\/\/thehackernews.com\/2026\/10\/attackers-heat-french-supermarket.html\">The Hacker News<\/a>).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-fe68323 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"fe68323\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-9cae30f\" data-id=\"9cae30f\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bc8f91d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"bc8f91d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Industrial manufacturers' advisories<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9d5c359 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9d5c359\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Several manufacturers also published security advisories on their industrial solutions, or had them republished in October by CISA (the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency), listed on its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisa.gov\/news-events\/ics-advisories\">ICS advisories<\/a> page:<\/p><ul><li><strong>WAGO (1 October, CERT@VDE advisory VDE-2025-081)<\/strong>: CODESYS-based controllers and communication components are exposed to an unauthenticated denial of service (CVE-2025-41738, CVSS 7.5). Fix: firmware 4.10.0,<\/li><li><strong>Moxa (2 October)<\/strong>: MGate MB3170 and MB3270 gateways have a critical vulnerability (CVE-2026-86325, CVSS 4.0 score of 9.4) that can be exploited by an authenticated read-only user. The fix is described in Moxa advisory MPSA-269540,<\/li><li><strong>Hitachi Energy (advisories republished by CISA on 6 and 20 October)<\/strong>: RTU500 units running CMU firmware 11.x or earlier, which is no longer supported, notably allow unauthenticated firmware uploads (CVE-2026-8065, CVSS 9.1). Other advisories cover MicroSCADA X SYS600.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-1560cc9 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"1560cc9\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-5a554cc\" data-id=\"5a554cc\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0747832 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0747832\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The starting point: knowing what you have<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4e8fd9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4e8fd9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>For each of these alerts, the response starts with a check:<\/p><ol><li>Is the affected equipment or software present on my sites?<\/li><li>Which version is installed?<\/li><li>Is it reachable from the internet?<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-67f43bf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"67f43bf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Without an up-to-date inventory, these questions are hard to answer quickly.<\/p><p>The refrigeration controller case illustrates this well. It does, however, prepare the next steps:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Vulnerability management<\/strong>: quickly identifying which equipment is affected when an alert is published,<\/li><li><strong>IT\/OT network segmentation<\/strong>: filtering industrial traffic and limiting the spread of an incident,<\/li><li><strong>Securing remote access<\/strong>: managing privileged accounts and recording sessions,<\/li><li><strong>PLC configuration management<\/strong>: tracking versions and backing up configurations.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
