The goal: allow sample label printing from the corporate M.E.S. system, while retrieving batch data from the local M.E.S., with remote printing to Zebra printers and the ability to reprint on demand — all without using licensed software like Nice Label.

B2C Engineering built a custom printing module within AVEVA System Platform. In just one calendar month, the team delivered a solution that retrieves batch and print data, formats the labels using ZPL templates, and sends print commands to the correct Zebra printer.

The result: a lightweight, license-free solution, fully integrated into the client’s existing infrastructure.
